In addition to teaching, Erike is also a leader in the risk management and safety community serving as Chair for the US Technical Advisory Group for ISO 31000 – Risk Management, Convenor for ISO TC 262 Workgroup 8 for Terminology, and recognized as the ASSP Safety Professional of the Year in 2012.
Erike is a Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and completed the Enterprise Risk Management Certificated (ARM-E). He earned his master’s in public policy and Administration (MPPA) from California State University, Sacramento and BA from the University of California, Davis.
